The Nebraska Cornhuskers got some tough news earlier this week as the program learned its Saturday matchup with the Florida A&M Rattlers would not be going forward as scheduled. The athletic department put out a release suggesting the cancellation was due to COVID-19 protocols.

This is one of a handful of Big Ten games that have officially been cancelled or postponed just a week and a half into the season. Nebraska was hoping to use Saturday to build momentum going into next week’s matchup against Georgia Tech. The Huskers remain 3-1 and are ranked just outside the top 100 on KenPom.
As noted above, Nebraska’s next game will now be a matchup against Georgia Tech at home on Wednesday. It figures to be one of the more important games in deciding this year’s Big Ten-ACC Challenge. KenPom projects Nebraska as a one-point favorite.
BTPowerhouse will continue to post updates on this game as more is learned.
