Late last month, the Penn State Nittany Lions put out a key offer in the 2022 recruiting cycle. Interim Head Coach Jim Ferry and his new staff decided to offer 2022 prospect Freddie Dilione.

Dilione comes out of Fayetteville, North Carolina and is largely unrated by the national scouting services. Max Preps lists him at 6-foot-5 and 155 pounds and he appears to be a player sliding under the radar in the 2022 cycle. Along with Penn State, he also currently has offers from Eastern Kentucky and Florida International among others.
Penn State currently has one commitment in its 2022 recruiting class from three-star prospect Sonny Johnson. But fans will hope Ferry and staff can add to that haul with Dilione in the months to come. Of course, we will have to wait and see if that ends up happening as there’s still quite some time before Dilione has to make his decision.
