Late last month, the Penn State Nittany Lions put out a key offer in the 2022 recruiting cycle. Interim Head Coach Jim Ferry and his new staff decided to offer 2022 prospect Jared Turner.
Extremely Blessed to have received an offer from Penn State University! pic.twitter.com/BLuvDpxWwY— Jared Turner (@Jared_Turner13) November 20, 2020
Turner comes out of Washington, DC and is rated as a three-star prospect and the third-best player in DC by 247Sports. The recruiting site lists him at 6-foot-6 and 185 pounds and he clearly appears to be one of the better players in the 2022 cycle. Along with Penn State, he also currently has offers from Bryant, DePaul, George Washington, and Hartford among others.
Penn State currently has one commitment in its 2022 recruiting class from three-star prospect Sonny Johnson. But fans will hope Ferry and staff can add to that haul with Turner in the months to come. Of course, we will have to wait and see if that ends up happening. Turner currently has no Crystal Ball selections on 247Sports.
