This will offer the Big Ten a chance to solidify a win in this year’s challenge or for the ACC to potentially tie it up. After a disappointing sweep of the Big Ten by the ACC last week on Wednesday’s games, the record sits at 6-5 with the Big Ten narrowly in the lead.
Michigan-NC State and Michigan State-Virginia were also cancelled or postponed in addition to the Wisconsin matchup. All four teams have expressed interest in making up their games as well, but it is not clear at this time how likely that will be. Should Wisconsin beat the Cardinals, then the Big Ten will likely have the decisive win of the series in case one of the other games is made-up. If Louisville wins, then it may end up as a tie for this year’s challenge given the uncertainty of the other two games being played.
