Earlier this month, the Indiana Hoosiers put out a key offer in the 2021 recruiting cycle. Archie Miller and his new staff decided to offer 2021 prospect Mustapha Amzil.
Indiana has now offered 2021 international forward Mustapha Amzil. We wrote about him a few weeks ago here. #iubb https://t.co/EWbZpJGwwV

Amzil comes out of Kotka, Finland and is largely unrated by the scouting services. Verbal Commits lists him at 6-foot-10 and 215 pounds, which would imply he has the size and stature to play at the Big Ten level. He averaged 10.3 points and 8.1 rebounds in Finland’s 1st Division (A) last season. Amzil also has offers from Dayton and Maryland among others.
Indiana currently has one commitment from four-star Logan Duncomb in its 2021 recruiting class. Should Amzil also commit, Indiana would really start to get things rolling in the cycle. Of course, we will have to wait and see if that ends up happening. However, it’s still early and Amzil has a unique profile as an international prospect. We’ll have to wait and see where he might end up.
