Late last month, the Rutgers Scarlet Knights put out a key offer in the 2023 recruiting cycle. Steve Pikiell and his staff decided to offer 2023 prospect Jonas Aidoo.

Lamothe comes out of Baltimore, Maryland and is currently rated as a four-star prospect and the third-best player in the state by 247Sports. The recruiting site also lists him at 6-foot-4 and 180 pounds. Along with Rutgers, he also currently has offers from Bryant, DePaul, Georgetown, Mississippi State, Pittsburgh, and Seton Hall among others.
Rutgers currently has no commitments in its 2023 recruiting class. However, with the team’s recent success on the court and its lofty projections for next season, it seems likely things will pick up in the months to come and perhaps Lamothe can get things rolling. Of course, we will have to wait and see over the coming months. He currently has no Crystal Ball selections on 247Sports.
