Earlier this month, the Iowa Hawkeyes put out a key offer in the 2022 recruiting cycle. Fran McCaffery and his staff decided to offer 2022 prospect Tarris Reed.

Reed comes out of St. Louis, Missouri and is rated as a four-star prospect and the top player in the state by 247Sports. The recruiting site also lists him at 6-foot-10 and 230 pounds. Along with Iowa, he also currently has offers from Creighton, Kansas State, Michigan State, Missouri, and Saint Louis among others.
Iowa currently has no commitments in the program’s 2022 recruiting class, but fans hope that will change soon. Perhaps Reed can be the first addition for McCaffery and staff. It’s still early to tell and Reed currently has no Crystal Ball projections. But with the team’s success last season on the court and lofty expectations for this season, perhaps fans can expect a lot of exciting things on the recruiting trail in the months ahead.
