Late last month, the Nebraska Cornhuskers put out a key offer in the 2023 recruiting cycle. Fred Hoiberg and his new staff decided to offer 2023 prospect Chase Clemmons.
Nebraska just offered four-star sophomore Chase Clemmons, he told @Stockrisers. His cousin, Trey McGowens, plays for the Huskers.

Clemmons comes out of Atlanta, Georgia and is largely unrated by the national scouting services. Verbal Commits lists him at 6-foot-0 and 167 pounds. He appears on track to get some major attention down the line. Along with Nebraska, he also currently has offers from Georgia, Georgetown, Houston, and Middle Tennessee among others.
Nebraska currently has no commitments in its 2023 recruiting class. However, with so many open roster spots in the years to come and a high-profile coach like Fred Hoiberg, Nebraska could really put together a decent 2023 class moving forward. We will have to see if the Huskers can close the deal. Of course, as a 2023 prospect, there’s still quite a long way to go before fans will have an answer.
