Earlier this month, the Penn State Nittany Lions put out a key offer in the 2023 recruiting cycle. Pat Chambers and his new staff decided to offer 2023 Rodney Gallagher. It’s an exciting move for a program that appears to be on the rise.

Gallagher comes out of Uniontown, Pennsylvania and is currently unrated by 247Sports. He is currently listed as 5-foot-10 and 145 pounds by Verbal Commits and appears to be gaining some steam on the recruiting trail. Along with Penn State, he also has offers from Hampton, Illinois, Pittsburgh, Rhode Island, and Wake Forest among others.
Penn State currently has no commitments in the program’s 2023 recruiting class, but fans hope that will change soon. Perhaps Gallagher can be the first addition for Chambers and staff. And with the team’s recent success on the court, one would expect the program to start getting in more of these high-profile recruitments.
