Over the weekend, the Wisconsin Badgers got some exciting news as 2021 prospect Matthew Mors announced that he would be committing to the program. Mors joins what is growing to be quite a recruiting group for the Badgers in the next few classes.
I am extremely proud to announce my commitment to further my academic and athletic career at the University of Wisconsin! #OnWisconsin pic.twitter.com/pAxyg2Leh0— Matthew Mors (@matthew_mors) September 30, 2019
Mors is listed at 6-foot-7 and 220 pounds by 247Sports and comes out of Yankton, South Dakota. Along with Wisconsin, he also had offers from programs including Colorado, Creighton, Iowa, and Iowa State among others. He is rated as a four-star prospect by 247Sports and as the best player in the state.
As mentioned, Mors joins what is really starting to look like a deep and talented next few recruiting classes for the Badgers. Wisconsin currently has the top class in the 2021 recruiting class nationally per 247Sports and the sixth-ranked class in 2020. There’s little debating this could be the start of something special in Madison for the years to come.
Greg Gard and his staff likely aren’t done yet in the 2021 class, but Badger fans have to be excited about where things sit at the moment.
