Late last week, the Ohio State Buckeyes got some exciting news as 2020 prospect Zed Key announced that he would be committing to the program. The exciting development comes as Chris Holtmann and the Buckeyes prepare to enter a key season in Columbus, as Holtmann and staff hope to build on the last few years.

Key is listed as 6-foot-7 and 215 pounds by 247Sports and comes out of Glen Head, New York. Along with Ohio State, he also had offers from programs including Boston College, Charlotte, and Florida among others. He is rated as a three-star prospect by 247Sports and as the fifth-best player in the state.
With Key’s commitment, Ohio State has two commitments in its 2020 recruiting class, which ranks 25th nationally on 247Sports. Eugene Brown also is a current member of the class. Of course, with these two and Ohio State’s impressive 2019 recruiting class, it’s fair to expect some big things from the program with that group over the next few years.
Holtmann and his staff still have their work cut out for the 2020 class, but Buckeye fans have to be excited about bringing Key into the fold.
