Earlier this week, the Wisconsin Badgers got some exciting news as 2020 prospect Steven Crowl announced that he would be committing to the program. Crowl joins what is already becoming a pretty deep and talented 2020 recruiting class for the Badgers.
I am excited to announce my decision to further my education and play basketball of the university of Wisconsin Madison. I want to thank my family, coaches and friends who have all supported me along the way and helped make this dream come true #gobadgers #Committed pic.twitter.com/K73t3P6wUg

Crowl is listed as 6-foot-9 and 210 pounds by 247Sports and comes out of Saint Paul, Minnesota. Along with Wisconsin, he also had offers from programs including Iowa, Northern Iowa, and Minnesota among others. He is rated as a four-star prospect by 247Sports, a three-star by the 247Composite, and as the fifth-best player in the state.
As mentioned, Crowl joins what is already a pretty deep 2020 class for Wisconsin. The program now has four commitments for the cycle and the class is now ranked 11th nationally by 247Sports. Crowl is the third-highest rated of the group, so it’s easy to see why fans are so excited about the group. There’s little debating that Crowl will hope to be the next in a long line of productive big men for the Badgers.
Greg Gard and his staff likely aren’t done yet in the 2020 class, but Badger fans have to be excited about where things sit at the moment.
