Earlier this week, Iowa fans got some exciting news as 2020 prospect Ahron Ulis announced that he would be committing to the Iowa Hawkeyes. This is great news for head coach Fran McCaffery and his staff.

Ulis comes out of Chicago Heights, Illinois and is currently rated as a three-star prospect and the seventh-best player in the state by 247Sports. He is currently listed as 6-foot-2 and 185 pounds by the recruiting site. Along with Iowa, he had offers from DePaul, Northern Illinois, and New Mexico among others.

There’s little debating that Ulis will arrive with a solid pedigree and be projected to be a solid contributor in the Big Ten moving forward. McCaffery and fans will have to be excited about that moving forward.
