Earlier this month, Indiana fans got some exciting news as 2020 prospect Trey Galloway opted to commit to the Indiana Hoosiers. This is huge news as new head coach Archie Miller hopes to lead the program into the future.

Galloway comes out of Culver, Indiana and is rated as a three-star prospect and the fifth-best player in the state by 247Sports. The site also lists him at 6-foot-4 and 200 pounds.

Along with Indiana, he received significant interest from several other Big Ten programs. He had offers from Iowa, Michigan State, and Nebraska among others. There’s little debating that he was one of the midwest’s top 2020 prospects.

With his commitment, Galloway becomes Indiana’s first commitment in the 2020 recruiting class. However, he joins a talented core on the roster built in part by a talented 2019 group. It will be interested to see how Galloway fits with Armaan Franklin.

This is a huge win for Miller on the recruiting front and Hoosier fans will have to hope that it’s a sign of things to come for the program in the months ahead.
