The 2019 NBA Draft took place on Thursday night and while Kenny Goins of the Michigan State Spartans wasn’t fortunate enough to hear his name called, he has now earned a deal with the Denver Nuggets. It’s exciting news for the Spartan forward.
Former Michigan State Spartans forward Kenny Goins has agreed to play Summer League with the Denver Nuggets, a league source told @TheAthleticNBA.

Goins spent four seasons with the Spartans and averaged an impressive 7.9 points, 8.9 rebounds, and 2.3 assists per game last year. Michigan State was able to make the postseason in each of his years with the program and made the Final Four last March after knocking off Duke in the Elite Eight.
