The 2019 NBA Draft took place on Thursday night and Ignas Brazdeikis of the Michigan Wolverines was fortunate enough to hear his name called. He was selected at No. 47 by the New York Knicks and will now head to the Big Apple. Please note that this pick was previously traded from the Sacramento Kings.
Iggy spent just one season with the Wolverines and was able to earn Big Ten Freshman of the Year honors after posting some impressive numbers. Over the course of the season, he averaged 14.8 points and 5.4 rebounds per game. The Wolverines ended up making the Sweet 16 and nearly winning the Big Ten Tournament.
