Carsen Edwards Taken No. 33 By The Boston Celtics

The former Boilermaker found his landing spot in the 2019 NBA Draft.

The 2019 NBA Draft took place on Thursday night and Carsen Edwards of the Purdue Boilermakers was fortunate enough to hear his name called. He was selected at No. 33 by the Boston Celtics and will now head to Boston. Please note that this pick was previously trade from Philly.

Edwards spent three seasons with the Boilermakers and left quite a mark for the program. He ended up averaging 24.3 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 2.9 assists per game in his final season and helped lead Purdue to the Elite Eight. The Boilermakers were just a few shots away from making the Final Four.
