Bolton had a breakout freshman season with the Nittany Lions averaging 11.6 points, 2 rebounds and 1.5 assist per game. Bolton played in all 32 games for Head Coach Patrick Chambers, including nine starts.
While the whole Penn State offense was under par at some points during the season—including Bolton. It seemed as if through program and player development, Bolton could have risen to be a star for Chamber’s team.
While Penn State will still return Lamar Stevens and Mike Watkins next year after NBA Draft speculation, Bolton will prove a detrimental loss for a team trying to regain a winning season and eventually return to the NCAA Tournament.
Bolton also received offers from Virginia Tech, Ole Miss, Clemson and Cincinnati out of high school. While it is unsure where Bolton will end up, BT Powerhouse will keep you updated on his interests, offers and decision.
