After putting together an impressive season, the Maryland Terrapins have earned their spot in the 2019 NCAA Tournament and March Madness. The team has been slotted as an six seed in the East Region.

Maryland will open up its NCAA Tournament play by facing either Belmont or Temple in the Round of 64. Those teams will play in the First Four earlier in the week. Should the Terps get past the first round, Maryland would then have to face LSU or Yale in the second round. There’s little debating that would be a difficult matchup.

Other notable teams in the East Region include Duke, Michigan State, Virginia Tech, and Mississippi State. The Blue Devils are the top seed in the overall bracket.
