What does the job entail?

The community moderator will be responsible for moderating comments on articles and making sure discussions stay within the parameters of SB Nation’s Community Guidelines. The moderator will also have the opportunity to surface quality FanPosts submitted by readers and promote them to the front page of the site.

Our best candidates will:

• Have a passion for Big Ten basketball and will already be familiar with BT Powerhouse.
• Be willing to use Vox Media’s moderation tools to streamline their processes.
• Be comfortable working in a remote environment.
• Previous experience moderating an online community is preferred.\

This is a part-time, remote, contract opportunity compensated with a monthly stipend.
