Earlier this week, Iowa fans got some exciting news as 2020 prospects Keegan Murray and Kris Murray opted to commit to the Iowa Hawkeyes. The two are brothers and decided to continue their careers with Fran McCaffery and his staff.

Kris Murray is listed at 6-foot-8 and 205 pounds. He comes out of the same area, unsurprisingly, and also had an offer from Western Illinois. He also had attention from schools including Drake, Florida Atlantic, and Illinois State and is unrated by 247Sports.
With their commitments, Iowa now has four players in its 2020 recruiting class. The class is now rated 57th nationally by 247Sports and figures to provide valuable depth for the Hawkeyes moving forward. It will be interesting to see how the class is evaluated as the Murray brothers get more attention.
There’s little debating that the Murray brothers will arrive with a solid pedigree and be projected to be a solid contributor in the Big Ten moving forward. McCaffery and fans will have to be excited about that moving forward.
