Earlier this week, the Northwestern Wildcats got some exciting news as 2020 prospect Ty Berry opted to commit the program. He’s the latest pickup for Chris Collins and his staff and fans are hoping he will be able to hit the ground running next season.

Berry comes out of Wichita, Kansas and is listed as 6-foot-2 and 170 pounds by 247Sports. He is rated as a three-star prospect and the top player in the site as well. Along with Northwestern, he also had offers from Colorado, Creighton, and Minnesota among others.
With Berry’s commitment, Northwestern now has two commitments in its 2020 recruiting class. Berry joins another three-star prospect in Matt Nicholson. He’s rated a little bit lower than Berry, but many are hoping he can help in the frontcourt. The class is currently ranked 38th nationally by 247Sports.
Collins and his staff still have their work cut out for the 2020 class, but Wildcat fans have to be excited about bringing Berry into the fold.
