Game of the Night

- #17 Purdue Boilermakers at Penn State Nittany Lions

  • Time/TV: 7:00 PM ET
  • Spread: Penn State (+7)

Matt Painter finally has the Boilermakers clicking, with Carsen Edwards leading the charge. Edwards is averaging 24.2 points per game and 3.5 assists per game, with the turnovers per game (3.2) trending downwards. Having a point guard, who can manage a game so well, like that in the Big Ten is the key to closing out games.

For Penn State they’ve had some close games, but have always been on the outside looking in talent wise. Lamar Stevens is having a good year, but not quite the one some were expecting. Pat Chambers looks to be on the hot seat in another down-year for the Nittany Lions.

Penn State at home keeps it within reaching distance in the first half, but Edwards and the Boilermakers run away with it in the end.
