This has been a wild week for the league. Not only did we see some of the Big Ten’s best teams matchup with one another, but we also saw some of them go on the road and get upset as well. All things considered, things are definitely heating up.

As such, here’s a look at the current Big Ten Tournament bracket following Sunday’s results with the schedule included.

2019 Big Ten Tournament Bracket:

Thoughts:

To start, It’s always important to note how close things are in the standings right now. Not only are Michigan and Michigan State both tied in the standings, but Indiana, Minnesota, Purdue, and Wisconsin are also tied. By next weekend, the top spots are almost certainly going to look much different.

With that said, we are starting to get a picture of what the league is going to look like going forward. Michigan and Michigan State are a notch above everyone else. And though Maryland sits at the three seed right now, there isn’t a huge gap. If the Terps struggle, there are going to be a few teams right there.

The most interesting thing about this list is going to be that final group getting a bye. Iowa seems to be rolling right now, but do any of those teams get in danger of having to play on Wednesday? Although it doesn’t look like it right now, it will be something to watch.
