Nebraska basketball has decided to join the race for 2019 Collegiate School forward Robbie Beran.
Beran didn’t receive that many offers early on in his recruitment, only talking to local Virginia schools like George Mason and Richmond.
However, Beran started to make a name for himself at the Las Vegas evaluation periods, when he showed off how much athleticism he possesses for being 6-foot-9.
One of the offers he received after the Las Vegas evaluations was from Nebraska, a team that is going to be in desperate need of height come 2019.

Nebraska will lose 6-foot-9 forward Isaac Copeland after this season, with Isaiah Roby most likely following him. Not to mention center Jordy Tshimanga also just left for the Dayton Flyers.
Beran plays with a similar style that Copeland plays with, an athletic forward that can shoot from the perimeter.
This past month Beran wasn’t worried about official visits, but said he will start to take some as his senior year comes around.
“I haven’t really focused on it official wise, just want to play through July and then sit down afterwards,” he said.
