With Michigan’s win over Maryland on Saturday afternoon, there are just a few games remaining in the regular season for the Big Ten. However, there is still plenty to be sorted out before the bracket is set for next week.

As such, here’s a look at the current bracket following Saturday’s results with schedule and TV information included.

2018 Big Ten Tournament Bracket:

Thoughts:

Generally speaking, the bracket above is largely finalized. Four teams have already finished playing and multiple others have already locked in their spots. Fans can beginning starting to make some plans about when their teams will play.

However, not everything is finalized.

At the top, Michigan State currently sits with the one seed, but a loss on Sunday against Wisconsin would push the Spartans back to the two seed behind Ohio State. Additionally, even though Purdue is locked in at three, Michigan and Nebraska could swap out of the four spot depending on what happens for the Huskers on Sunday.

In the middle, three spots are up for grabs. Penn State and Indiana are both still alive for the six spot and, as mentioned, the five spot is still yet to be finalized as well. However, Maryland and Wisconsin are locked in at the top and Northwestern is locked in at the 10th seed for a game against either Indiana or Penn State.

At the bottom, it’s a complete mess. Minnesota is one game ahead of the bottom three, but Illinois, Iowa, and Rutgers are all tied. With all four teams in action on Sunday, there’s no telling what could happen.
