Earlier this week, Bovada released a new set of odds trying to predict what will happen in this season’s NCAA Tournament. The Big Ten struggled in these latest projections, with just four teams having odds above 100/1. Of course, the teams who were listed came in with particularly strong numbers.
Here’s a full look at the Big Ten teams listed below.
Big Ten Teams In 2/1 National Title Odds:
- 5/1 - Michigan State
- 7/1 - Purdue
- 66/1 - Ohio State
- 75/1 - Michigan
There isn’t much surprising about seeing Michigan State and Purdue so high, but it is a bit surprising to see that kind of divide between Ohio State and Michigan. Clearly, Vegas believes more in the Buckeyes right now.
All other Big Ten teams were off the board.
