Things have been wild so far for the Big Ten. Not only did fans have the unusual experience of league games in December, but fans have also already seen multiple Big Ten frontrunners go down in surprising fashion. It’s been fun.
As such, here’s a look at the current bracket following Saturday’s results with schedule and TV information included.

2018 Big Ten Tournament Bracket:
If you had asked fans to project how the Big Ten Tournament bracket would look prior to the season, few would have guessed its current projection. Not only are things really surprising at the top, but that craziness goes through to the bottom as well.
Starting at the top, there is no debating that Purdue sits in the driver’s seat going forward. The Boilermakers are currently up a half a game on Ohio State and have a really manageable schedule going forward. Purdue only has one road game against the Big Ten’s top tier remaining and three games in total.
After Purdue, it’s surprising to see Michigan State at fourth, but it seems pretty likely that the top four seeds will remain there for the rest of the season. The divide seems pretty substantial between the Big Ten’s top four and the rest of the league.
Let’s be clear about the teams listed fifth or below. It’s going to be absolute madness to see where teams end up in this group. There are a multitude of ties in the standings and there are six teams divided by less than one game. Expect a battle.
It should be a fun next two months.
