The Big Ten announced this week the 35 men’s basketball players that will attend the upcoming Big Ten Basketball Media Day next month. The event will take place the 19th at Madison Square Garden with the Big Ten (once again) trying to reach out to the New York market.
Of the 35 players set to participate in media day, 20 are seniors and 16 were returning All-Big Ten selections from last year.
Like mentioned above, the Big Ten has been trying to reach out to the New York market and expand the reach of the conference. Besides having this year’s media day in New York City, the conference will return at the end of February for the Big Ten Tournament, which is also being held at Madison Square Garden.
