The Purdue Boilermakers will be representing Team USA at the World University Games, as we’ve covered several times this past month. The games start today, with Team USA’s opening game against Argentina tipping off at 5:30 a.m today (you can watch it here if you’re awake).
Like most major events of the sort, there was also an opening ceremony to kick off the games. The World University Games, featuring over 10,000 athletes from all over the world, is a once in a lifetime event for the members of the Boilermakers and the opening ceremony was definitely an eye opening experience for the players:
