With the college basketball season about to wrap up, one of the topics that will continue to dominate fan discussion is each team’s pro potential. Well, NBADraftNet recently updated its 2017 NBA mock draft, which stirred up plenty of intrigue.

The Big Ten found itself well represented with two players making the cut, including two First Round projections. Obviously, that speaks to just how exciting this season was for Big Ten fans.

Here’s a full look at the Big Ten players listed below.

Big Ten In 4/5 DraftExpress 2017 NBA Mock Draft:

  • #13 - Miles Bridges (Michigan State)
  • #30 - Caleb Swanigan (Purdue)

There certainly was nothing surprising about seeing Bridges and Swanigan projected so highly on this forecast. Both had remarkable 2016-’17 season and are well deserving of hearing their names called on Draft night.

However, some of the exclusions on this list were simply baffling. To start, the fact that OG Anunoby was nowhere to found was shocking. The Hoosier projects extremely well to the next level and is deserving of having his name on this list. Moreover, other players like Thomas Bryant also likely deserved recognition.
