After strong play from the freshman and a great season from Melo Trimble, the Terrapins earned a 6-seed in the West and will face 11th-seeded Xavier in the first round. The game is set to take place in Orlando on March 16th at 6:50 pm ET. It will be broadcasted nationally on TNT.

-Michigan Wolverines

After an interesting start to the season, Michigan cashed their ticket to the Big Dance. Michigan had a whirlwind weekend, starting with a plane crash en route to the Big Ten Tournament. Michigan went on to win 4 games in four days to be crowned Big Ten Tournament Champions. The run in the Big Ten Tournament capped a great February and March for the team, where they only lost twice- to Northwestern on “The Play” and Minnesota. They received a 5-seed after finishing fourth in the Big Ten. The Gophers will face Middle Tennessee State in Milwaukee on March 16 at 4:00 pm ET on TNT.

-Northwestern Wildcats

They’re Dancing! For the first time in program history, the school famously known for being the only Power 5 Conference school to never make the tournament will dance. After an exciting season, the Wildcats have earned an 8-seed in the West. They will head to Salt Lake City to face 9th-seeded Vanderbilt on March 16th at 4:30 ET.

-Purdue Boilermakers

The regular season Big Ten Champions are dancing. Purdue, who has the Big Ten Player of The Year in Caleb Swanigan, earned a 4-seed at the Big Dance.
