Big Ten Network announced yesterday that they will add coverage to several charity exhibition games coming up, providing Big Ten fans with some additional action prior to the season tipping off.
All three games that BTN will cover will air on their digital streaming service BTN Plus. BTN also announced that they will make a donation to the charitable efforts associated with each game they’ll cover.
BTN Plus will air the following games:
- Northern Iowa at Wisconsin (Wednesday at 8 p.m.)
- Green Bay at Minnesota (Sunday at 1 p.m.)
- St. Johns at Rutgers (Sunday at 1 p.m.)
Wisconsin’s exhibition game against Northern Iowa later today will benefit Team Rubicon, while the Minnesota and St. Johns exhibition games will support the American Red Cross.
Besides the three charity exhibition games mentioned above, BTN Plus will also cover a number of exhibition games over the next week heading into the season. The complete list of games covered on the streaming service can be seen here. Tomorrow’s action will include both Wisconsin’s charity exhibition game against Northern Iowa and Purdue’s exhibition game against Carroll College.
Speaking of charity exhibition games, yesterday we posted about Eastern Illinois hosting the Illini this Friday for a double header at Lantz Arena. While there were limited tickets available as of Monday, tickets for the game have now officially sold out.
