It’s here! It’s back! Grab your morning power bar and read up on the most recent recruiting news within the Big Ten.

College coaches are continuing to stay quiet throughout this dry time period in the recruiting world. However, some of the coaching staffs may begin to take advantage if they want to add a prospect, or two, to one of the upcoming recruiting classes.

Let’s take a look, shall we?

-Terps Offer 2020 Prospect

Mark Turgeon and his staff recently sent a scholarship offer out to Isaiah Todd, out of John Marshall High School in Richmond, Virginia

Todd stands at 6-foot-10 and features at the power forward position. Early on in his recruitment, he has already received a ton of offers from big name programs, and now Maryland joins the list.

The only other Big Ten school to join Maryland in offering Todd is Penn State. It will be interesting to see if either team will come out as Todd’s top choice, but with him only being a freshman, there is still plenty of time.

To add to the offer, Todd visited College Park this past Tuesday to see the Terps take on the Indiana Hoosiers. He was on hand for a fantastic game, and Maryland was able to pull out the win in front of him

-Indiana’s Top Prospect Nominated to All-American Game

Four-star forward Justin Smith, who is an Indiana signee, recently was nominated for the McDonalds All-American game. Although many nominations are sent out to prospects across the country, it is an honor to get recognized.

The Buffalo Grove, Illinois native signed with the Hoosiers at the end of September and is a bright future for the program. Standing at 6-foot-7, Smith will most likely play the shooting guard, or the small forward position for the head coach, Tom Crane.

Before signing to Indiana, Smith had offers from other Big Ten teams such as Illinois, Northwestern, Purdue, and Wisconsin.
