Ohio State head coach Thad Matta showcases new uniforms

With Ohio State basketball’s media day set to take place, one of the main draws was the unveiling of the Buckeyes new uniforms for the upcoming 2016-17 season. In a slight twist, however, Ohio State went in a somewhat unconventional direction in showing their new get up for the upcoming season.

Instead of bring out a star player or highly touted freshman to show their jerseys for this winter, the Buckeyes instead tweeted out head coach Thad Matta in full uniform (shoes included):

Simply put, that’s one way to gain some attention for your media day.
