As first reported by Scout's Evan Daniels, four-star center Deng Gak has narrowed his college recruitment to a final five schools. Along with the Indiana Hoosiers, the Duke Blue Devils, Florida Gators, Kansas Jayhawks and Miami Hurricanes are in the mix as well.

Gak is rated as the top player in New Jersey for the Class of 2017, No. 7 center and the No. 77 overall player according to 247Sports. Also of note, the site has Duke as the 100-percent favorite to land Gak.
Gak is already a world traveler. He was born in Cairo, Egypt, and spent time at Australia's Centre of Excellence before moving to New Jersey to attend the Blair Academy last year. Notable Blair alumni include Luol Deng and Charlie Villanueva.
While it appears that the four teams other than Duke are all long shots to gain a verbal commitment, Indiana would certainly love to land Gak as a potential Thomas Bryant reload.
