The Indiana Hoosiers remain in the fray among some of college basketball’s biggest powerhouses for the courting of 6-foot-6 shooting guard Brandon Randolph. The Yonkers, NY native ranks No.41 overall in the 2017 class, according to 247Sports, along with being the No.7 shooting guard and No.4 player from the state of New York.
Don’t get too excited yet though, Hoosier Nation.
Indiana is one of 12 schools still in the mix. The North Carolina Tar Heels are the favorite to land Randolph for next year and are competing for Randolph’s services along with the Kansas Jayhawks, highly interested Louisville Cardinals, Alabama Crimson Tide, Arizona Wildcats, Notre Dame Fighting Irish, Oregon Ducks, Miami Hurricanes, Syracuse Orange, Xavier Musketeers, and Wake Forest Demon Deacons.
It’s kind of a battle royale among the power conferences in the country.
