According to Scout, the Fighting Illini have put out an offer to 2017 prospect Mayan Kiir. He comes out of Bradenton, Florida and is rated as the No. 5 player in the state and the No. 16 center in the class by ESPN. Kiir is listed at 6-9 and 215 pounds and also has offers from Long Beach State, Louisville, and VCU among others. Illinois currently has two commitments in its 2017 recruiting class.
