The Big Ten's No. 7 seeded team in Indianapolis has been selected to the 2016 NIT and officially know their place in this year's bracket. The Ohio State Buckeyes went 20-13 overall, 11-7 in Big Ten regular season play, and 1-1 in the Big Ten Tournament with a win over Penn State and a loss to Michigan State. The team was led by All-Big Ten Honorable Mention members Keita Bates-Diop and Marc Loving.
The Buckeyes were selected as a No. 3 seed and will have a Round of 32 matchup against Akron in Columbus and a potential matchup against Florida or North Florida awaiting in the Round of 16.
