The Big Ten's No. 5 seeded team in Indianapolis has now been selected to the 2016 NCAA Tournament and officially know their place in this year's bracket. The Iowa Hawkeyes went 12-10 overall, 12-6 in Big Ten regular season play, and 0-1 in the Big Ten Tournament with an upset loss to Illinois. Iowa was led by All-Big Ten player Jarrod Uthoff and All-Big Ten second team member Peter Jok.
The Hawkeyes have been selected as a No. 7 seed in the South region. They will face Temple in the Round of 32 with a potential matchup against Villanova or UNC Asheville if they advance to the Round of 32.
