The Big Ten's No. 1 seeded team in Indianapolis has now been selected to the 2016 NCAA Tournament and officially know their place in this year's bracket. The Indiana Hoosiers went 25-7 overall, 15-3 in Big Ten regular season play, and 0-1 in the Big Ten Tournament with an upset loss to Michigan. Indiana was led by All-Big Ten player Yogi Ferrell and All-Big Ten third team member Thomas Bryant.
The Hoosiers were selected as the No. 5 seed in the East Region. They will face Chattanooga in the Round of 64 with a potential matchup against Kentucky or Stony Brook in the Round of 32, if Indiana advances.
