Nebraska Announces It Will Not Accept CBI, CIT, and Other Postseason Invites
According to a release from Nebraska, head coach Tim Miles announced that the program would not be accepting a postseason bid, which likely would have been for the CBI or CIT. The Huskers finished the 2015-16 season with a 16-18 record after falling to No. 18 Maryland, 97-86 on Friday night. Highlights of the season included wins over Michigan State, Rhode Island, and Wisconsin in the Big Ten Tournament. Next year's team will return the vast majority of the team's contributors, although Benny Parker and Shavon Shields will be graduating.
