Big Ten Tuesday Preview and Open Thread: Wisconsin and Indiana Highlight a Trio of Big Ten Games

There will be three games going on tonight in the Big Ten. The games might not seem appealing on paper, but these particular games tonight should show how deep this conference really is. The Indiana Hoosiers, the Wisconsin Badgers, the Minnesota Golden Gophers, the Penn State Nittany Lions, the Nebraska Cornhuskers, and the Iowa Hawkeyes will all be in action tonight. Pay attention to these games because some of the best players in the Big Ten will be in action. Below are the previews for each games.

Game of the Night: Wisconsin Badgers vs. Indiana Hoosiers (7:00 PM ET| ESPN)

The Indiana Hoosiers have been playing really good basketball as of late. Ever since they lost to the Duke Blue Devils on Dec. 3, they have been playing very well. Watch for Indiana's star players to takeover this game at Assembly Hall. The Hoosiers have not lost at home this season and the Wisconsin Badgers have not been good at all this season. They have lost to mid-major opponents and have failed to answer the call in many of their big games so far this season.

Although this Wisconsin team has not been very good so far, a convincing win over the Badgers would be huge for Indiana. The Hoosiers need to prove that they can be consistent on both ends of the floor in every game. A 3-0 start to Big Ten play would be huge for the Hoosiers.

- Minnesota Golden Gophers vs. Penn State Nittany Lions (7:00 PM ET| BTN)

This game might not seem appealing on paper, but the Penn State Nittany Lions are a fun team to watch. Shep Garner can really shoot the basketball for the Nittany Lions and senior Brandon Taylor has been terrific as well. Penn State is not a bad team at all, they gave the Maryland Terrapins a lot to handle earlier this season and almost knocked them off.

Watch for Penn State to to show that they are not one of the bottom teams in the Big Ten after this game against the Minnesota Golden Gophers. The Gophers are one of the worst teams in the Big Ten and Penn State needs to win this game to prove that they are not one of the bottom Big Ten teams.

- Nebraska Cornhuskers vs. Iowa Hawkeyes (9:00 PM ET| BTN)

The Iowa Hawkeyes are one of the hottest teams in the country and the Big Ten right now. They are coming off wins over the Michigan State Spartans and the Purdue Boilermakers. The Hawkeyes are currently undefeated at home and Jarrod Uthoff is playing like an All-American. The Nebraska Cornhuskers are going to have their hands full. The Cornhuskers need big frontcourt production if they want to have any chance at winning this game and they must contain Uthoff for any shot of an upset.

Watch for the Hawkeyes to show that they are one of the best teams in the Big Ten. No one would have thought that the Hawkeyes could be this good, especially since they lost Aaron White, but Uthoff has been sensational and a huge reason as to why Iowa has been so successful so far this season.
