It is a sad day when there is only one Big Ten game going on, but this one game between the Wisconsin Badgers and Indiana Hoosiers should be a good one. The Hoosiers are currently 7-0 in league play and they are one of the hottest teams in the country and the Big Ten. The thing with the Hoosiers is that they have not had a formidable opponent yet during conference play. They have won every game they should have, but their next game against Wisconsin on the road will be their first real test.
Let's take a look.
Game of the Night: No. 25 Indiana Hoosiers vs. Wisconsin Badgers (7:00 PM ET| ESPN)
Now, this game might not seem like that big of a test for the Hoosiers on paper, but the Badgers have been playing some of their best basketball of the season as of late. The Badgers are coming off wins against the Michigan State Spartans and the Penn State Nittany Lions. It is not easy to play on the road against the Badgers, which is why this game might create problems for the Hoosiers, but Indiana has also been playing extremely well lately. They dismantled the Northwestern Wildcats in their last game, and ever since James Blackmon Jr. went down they have actually been playing really well.
Wisconsin will need players like Nigel Hayes, Bronson Koenig, and Ethan Happ to play extremely well if they want to have a chance at knocking off the red hot Hoosiers. The Badgers must contain the Hoosiers three-point shooting, which is one of Indiana's biggest weapons. The Hoosiers shoot 44.4 percent from deep for the season, which is rather impressive.
Watch for the Badgers to try and make this a low scoring affair and a slow game because once Indiana finds a rhythm, it could get ugly fast.
