Illini forward Darius Paul suspended, sent home immediately from overseas trip

It looks like Illinois has taken another hit to their roster, which is starting to look a bit on the thin thin side thanks to injuries and now the suspension of Darius Paul.

The forward was possibly going to contend for a starting position this season, but now that's in jeopardy as he was sent home early from the team's European trip and suspended indefinitely. Shortly after it came out that Paul was charged with vandalism and public intoxication, prompting head coach John Groce to send him home.

Considering the fact that Paul's off-the-court issues led to him missing last season for the Illini (with Paul playing at the JUCO level instead) and this being a second chance, one has to wonder if Paul is going to remain with the team when everything is said and done.
