Michigan State guard Alvin Ellis III cited twice this spring in alcohol related charges

Michigan State guard Alvin Ellis III has reportedly dealt with not one, but two different alcohol-related offenses this spring. Ellis was originally charged in May for underage purchase and consumption/possession of alcohol, but the charges were dismissed. He was then charged once again just over a month later, with said charges not yet resolved legally.

The news comes almost immediately after transfer Eron Harris was suspended indefinitely for operating a vehicle while intoxicated. Ellis, who was a back-up last season, will be disciplined, though his punishment hasn't been announced yet. Either way it's been a rough week for Sparty fans as two players face issues stemming from consumption of alcohol.
