The second Evaluation Period (July 15-19) is in the books and six Big Ten schools made offers to five 2017 prospects and one 2018 prospects this past weekend. Penn State offered Kodye Pugh, Illinois offered Nickeil Alexander-Walker, Rutgers offered Najil Marshall, Minnesota offered Najja Hunter, Nebraska offered Jordan Poole, and Ohio State offered Giir Ring.
Big Ten schools are serving notice of the 2017 Class as Pugh, Hunter, and Poole have received multiple offers. The third and final Evaluation Period commences July 22-26. Expect a big surge of offers this week.

Pugh is ranked #119 in the country per 247/Sports and attends Blair Academy in Baltimore, MD. He is listed at 6' 8". He has received 15 offers, among them Northwestern, South Carolina, Georgetown, Florida, and Clemson.
Illinois offers 2017 Shooting Guard Nickeil Alexander-Walker

Alexander-Walker plays AAU ball for Canada Elite and hails from St. Louis Christian Academy (MO). The 6' 5" and 160 lbs 16-year-old has received five offers, including Baylor, New Mexico State, and Virginia Tech. He is gaining attention from Minnesota and Missouri.
Rutgers offers 2017 Shooting Guard Najil Marshall

Marshall has picked up his second offer. Towson was his first offer. He is listed at 6' 5" and attends Roosevelt High School in the Washington DC area.

Hunter's recruitment is gaining momentum with nine offers, among them Penn State (9/20/2014), Rutgers (10/12/2013), Temple, Oregon State, and Seton Hall. He attends Westtown High School in Montclair, NJ. He is listed at 6' 5" and 178 lbs.
Nebraska offers 2017 3-Star Shooting Guard Jordan Poole

Poole is ranked #124 in the nation per 247/Sports. Nebraska is his second Big Ten offer. Illinois offered June 27. He attends King High School in Milwaukee, WI. He is listed at 6' 4" and 180 lbs and has received eight offers, among them Virginia Tech, Auburn, and Drake. Poole is receiving attention from Wisconsin, Kansas, and UConn.

Ring is well-traveled, a native of Sydney, Australia, attends Orlando Christian Prep (FL), and plays AAU ball for Team Texas Elite of the Nike EYBL. He is listed at 6' 8" and 215 lbs. He has received seven offers, including Florida State, Texas, Kansas State, and Texas A&M.
