BREAKING: Wisconsin's Frank Kaminsky Selected #9 By Charlotte Hornets

The first Badger is off the board with the Charlotte Hornets selecting Wisconsin's Frank Kaminsky.  During his career, Kaminsky played a total of four seasons in Madison and was named both the Big Ten Player of the Year and as the National Player of the Year during the 2014-15 season.  The Badgers made the Final Four in each of Kaminsky's last two seasons with the team.

The Hornets were relatively competitive last season despite failing to make the Playoffs and have a big opening upfront as they recently traded former Indiana star Noah Vonleh and according to reports, are also looking to trade former Hoosier Cody Zeller.  Kaminisky should have an opportunity to play early and often and make his impact.
