The Hawkeyes recently put out an offer to one of the top 2017 prospects in the country in Gary Trent, Jr. He is considered to be the top player in the state of Minnesota for the 2017 class and is the #9 shooting guard in the class. Alabama, Florida State, Michigan State, Minnesota, Ohio State, Providence, and Texas Tech have all offered Trent so far.
