The Big Ten's #4 seeded team in Chicago has now been selected to the 2015 NCAA Tournament and officially know their place in this year's bracket. The Purdue Boilermakers went 21-12 overall, 12-6 in Big Ten regular season play, and 1-1 in the Big Ten Tournament with a win over Penn State and a loss to Wisconsin. Purdue was led by All-Big Ten 2nd team member AJ Hammons, Big Ten Defensive Player of the Year Rapheal Davis, and All-Big Ten Honorable mention member Jon Octeus.
The Boilermakers have been selected as a #9 seed in the Midwest Region. They will face Cincinnati in the Round of 64 with a potential matchup with Kentucky, Manhattan, or Hampton awaiting in the Round of 32 if Purdue is able to advance.
